Surf Life Saving NSW (SLSNSW) will be staging the 2024 Oakberry Acai NSW Country Championships at Warilla Beach, Warilla. SLSNSW is excited to bring one of our premiersporting events to NSW’s wonderful South Coast.This Championship event will attract approximately 4,000 competitors, officials, andspectators to the Shellharbour LGA. The event will provide a significant economic injection intothe local community and allow Country Members outside the Illawarra to Newcastle corridorthe opportunity to showcase their elite water, craft, and beach skills, critical to providing saferbeaches up and down the NSW coast.

• START: Friday 26 January, 2024

• END: Sunday 28 January, 2024

PARKING: 

The 2024 Oakberry Acai NSW Championships will be staged on the following consecutive days
at Warilla Beach in partnership with Warilla Barrack Point SLSC and Shellharbour Council:

Please consider the following for the duration of the Championships:

• Warilla Beach Public Car Park will be closed from public access from Thursday, 25 January thru Sunday, 28 January 2024.

• No Stopping will be in place along Osborne Pde, in front of Warilla Barrack Point SLSC.

• Traffic routes in the local area will not be affected.

• On the respective days above, there may be increased traffic congestion around the competition site.

• Patrolled swimming areas will remain along Warilla Beach, either North or South of the competition area, at locations to be determined by Lifeguards.
